A broadly pyramidal shaped evergreen that grows to a height of 18 to 20 feet. Spread 5 to 6 feet. Dense, compact branching habit. Intense bluish-gray-green soft textured foliage and attractive silvery blue berries. The silver gray foliage will reflect light under strong moonlight, hence the name Moonglow. Low maintenance. Resistant to deer browsing. Plant in full sun only. Not fussy about soil type, grows easily in a very wide range of soils that are well drained and not soggy. Native. Makes an attractive landscape accent plant that needs plenty of room to grow. Excellent choice for hedges, screens, windbreaks and mass plantings.
