A low maintenance perennial growing to a height of 24 to 36 inches. Spread 18 to 20 inches. This variety is one of the most outstanding classic red Daylilies. Single, medium red blooms have a darker halo with a greenish-yellow throat. An early to mid season bloomer. Plant in full or half day sun. Prefers well drained soil. To promote reblooming and encourage new foliage, remove unsightly leaves and scapes after blooming or cut to the ground. Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds.
