Due to varied weather and digging conditions, we can not guarantee to ship on an exact date. Every effort is made to ship on the requested date. Since some stock is bare root, shipping  times for these items are limited. 

We are tree growers. All our trees are freshly dug, brought into the nursery, graded, tied in bundles and put into our cool storage. All this takes time, and the weather plays an important part in how fast this happens. Frozen ground makes digging impossible. Too much rain makes digging impossible without breaking the roots. We make every effort to ship your order at the best planting time for your area. But, farming is farming, and the weather and the trees don’t really care about the electronic age. If you must have your trees on a specific date, please build in a few extra days for shipping date. (That is the date the trees leave here.)  If anyone knows a way to control Mother Nature please let us know!
